US: Aerospace firm explores mergers, sales in company shakeup

B/E Aerospace has announced the postponement of its investor meeting, scheduled for Monday, as it explores possible divestitures or mergers.

    According to reports, B/E Aerospace is even considering a spin off of certain operations into a new company.

    In a statement, the company assured, however, that “no decision has been made and there can be no assurance that the board’s exploration of the company’s strategic alternatives will result in any transaction being entered into or consummated.”

    Further, the firm said, no timetable has been established for any transaction.
