Germany: Allen & Overy lawyer moves to new firm in Frankfurt

Former Allen & Overy antitrust partner Martin Bechtold has reportedly joined King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin in Germany, the firm announced.

    KWM announced this week the new hire as a significant move for the firm to expand its competition practice across Germany and the EU. According to reports, the firm now has competition practices in the EU, China, Hong Kong and Australia.

    Bechtold had previously served as partner at Clifford Chance before joining Allen & Over in 2006.
