GeyerGorey announced former Department of Justice antitrust prosecutor Robert E. Connolly will join the firm in Washington, D.C. as partner.
In a statement, Connolly said, “I am excited to join my former DOJ colleagues. Collectively we have worked on many of the Division’s most significant criminal and civil matters.”
Connolly’s time at the DOJ’s Antitrust Division, beginning at the Middle Atlantic Field Office in 1980, included his lead on major cases including the investigation of an international graphite electrodes cartel.
Connolly left the DOJ in 2013 and joined DLA Piper. At GeyerGorey, the lawyer will lead the firm’s corporate internal investigations practice.
