A US District Judge has rescheduled jury selection in a Texas antitrust case following allegations of spying on the potential panel, say reports.
US District Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt dismissed 35 potential jurors earlier this week after prosecutor MM Steel filed a complaint with the court accusing defense attorney Emily Miller improperly entered the room of potential jurors last week; the lawyer was also accused of sharing notes with her partner of details of interactions between the potential jurors.
Miller represents JSW Steel.
The law suit was filed by MM Steel in April, 2012, which accused steel distributors American Alloy Steel and Reliance Steel of conspiring to squeeze MM Steel out of the market.
