China: NDRC blankets nation with probes in six industries

    Local media reported that the NDRC will open investigations into the aerospace, medicine, household chemicals, automobile, telecommunications and household appliance sectors. According to NDRC official Lu Yanchun, the probes will focus on both foreign and domestic companies, as well as industry associations.

    China has a growing reputation for one of the strictest competition regimes on the globe. In the last three years, nearly 20 investigations have been launched into pricing practices of various companies.
