Israel: Price-fixing class action threatens domestic, foreign airlines

A class action lawsuit filed against domestic airline El Al as well as two foreign airlines is claiming the companies conspired to fix air fair tickets after a judge threw out the carriers’ motion to dismiss.

    Reports say El Al, along with British Airways and Lufthansa, are facing legal repercussions from the suit initiated by a consumer advocacy group Hatzalaha. The plaintiffs are seeking nearly $175 million in damages, the majority of which would come from El Al.
