UAE/UK: Aviation merger abandoned by DAE, BBA

The United Arab Emirates’ Dubai Aerospace Enterprise said Sunday it abandoned merger talks with UK based aviation firm BBA Aviation. The two announced last month that a potential transaction could be agreed upon, stating the companies were in “preliminary discussions” regarding a potential combining of parts of DAE and BBA. Such discussions have now ended, according to reports.
