In a press release offered to CPI by Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, the law firm announced that the landmark decision by the UK’s Competition Commission regarding Ryanair’s stake in rival Aer Lingus will be released in the next few days. Cadwalader is advising Aer Lingus in the case. A provisional report by the Commission released last June found that Ryanair’s 29.82 percent share in Aer Lingus gives Ryanair dominance in the market and, therefore, the airline should be required to divest some or all of its stake.
