Insurance conglomerate united India Insurance is not abusing its dominance, ruled the Competition Commission of India. Reports say complaints lodged against the insurance giant as well as its third-party administrator E-Meditak claimed the companies were abusing its market position within the medical insurance market. The CCI ruled earlier this month, however, in favor of the accused companies and will close the case.
