The merger between Tech Mahindra and Satyam, two software engineering giants based in India, has shaken up the IT world as the merger’s completion resulted in the fifth-largest IT company in the world. Tech Mahindra first acquired Satyam in 2009 and announced last Tuesday that all formal proceedings concerning the deal have been completed. Tech Mahindra averages $2.7 billion in sales and says it looks to reach $5 billion in sales by 2014, according to reports.
