EU: $8.2B stock exchange buy gets unconditional approval

An exclusive report by Reuters has announced that the European Commission is set to approve of the buyout of NYSE Euronext by IntercontinentalExchange in a deal worth $8.2 billion. Two sources reports the news to the media on Monday. Further, the sources said that no conditions will be placed on the acquisition. The regulator was expected to announce its decision by June 24.
