Antitrust law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP has announced that the Office of Fair Trading’s Senior Director Ali Nikpay will join the practice on April 15. Nikpay held his position at the OFT for nine years. Recently, the firm reports, he served as head of the authority’s Cartels and Criminal Enforcement division. Additionally, Nikpay was a member of the OFT’s Executive Committee. Nikpay will join the firm in its office in London to lead the competition practice – he will additionally work in Brussels and the US.
