South Africa: New interim leadership chosen for Competition Commission

The Competition Commission of India will soon see a new addition to its management. Two interim deputy commissioners have been appointed to the body, which announced the news on Monday. Oliver Josie and Trudi Makhaya were appointed as part of executive management for the Commission by economic development minister Ebrehim Patel. The appointments come in response to the resignation of deputy commissioner Thembinkosi Bonakele; Bonakele’s resignation is effective from March’s end. Patel is currently continuing his process to find one or more deputy commissioners who will be assigned to the post with longer contracts.
