Egypt: Authorities concerned over 30 percent hike in cement costs

Egypt’s Consumer Protection Agency has reportedly filed a complaint over increased cement prices with the Protection of Competition and Prevention of Monopoly Practices Authority. The nation has seen an increase of 30 percent in cement prices, a hike the Agency says is unjustified considering increased cement production combined with a real estate recession.
