The trend suggests that companies are tapping into a population of retired professionals with the expertise, according to human resources industry experts. Also according to reports, the trend is part of a shift towards the younger population as concerns grow over its employability. The article notes former chief of the Competition Commission of India Vinod Dhall as exemplifying this trend, as Dhall opened his own firm after retirement from the CCI.
