US: Drywall co files price-fixing suit against companies for second time

A class action lawsuit filed in Pennsylvania is alleging a 35 percent price influx on products by eight drywall companies. The suit was filed by Arizona-based Sierra Drywall Systems and, according to documents, claims that the price-fixing began in September or 2011 after the group of companies no longer offered discounts on large orders. This is not the first time Sierra has filed a price-fixing suit; late last year the company filed then dropped a suit against the companies in Illinois.
