Eczacibasi approved to buy 50% stake in Erguvan

Rekabet Kurumu, the Turkish competition authority, has approved Eczacibasi’s acquisition of a 50 percent stake in Erguvan Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS. Eczacibasi is a Turkish industrial group of companies, with sectors in pharmaceuticals, building materials, and consumer products. Erguvan is a Turkish power producer.
