Canada: Feds get involved in Quebec construction bid-ridding scandal

The federal eye has landed on the current bid-rigging scandal occurring within Quebec’s city construction sector. The Competition Bureau of Canada says it is looking into the sector and investigating numerous cases across Quebec. The Bureau has also said it is monitoring the ongoing testimony at the Charbonneau inquiry, though none of that testimony can be legally used to build a case for the Bureau.
