The Lithuanian Competition Council has announced an investigation into Forum Cinemas over alleged abuse of dominance. The cinema company had been given orders to not restrict competition in 2010; a spokesperson for the Competition Council has announced that will be one of several subjects to investigate. The 2010 allegations stemmed from suspicions that Forum was constricting competition by preventing film distributors from distributing to other cinemas. The Competition Council will now investigate whether the company took action to correct these practices, though did not release more information.
