Philippines: Chamber of Commerce rallies for antitrust bill

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce is rallying for the Legislature to pass two bills to increase the nation’s competitive strength in the world, one of the bills being the Antitrust Bill, also known as the Competition Act. The bill would make an effort to increase competition in the economy and prevent unfair competitive practices amongst businesses. The other bill is the Land Administration Reform Act, drafted to streamline land management laws.
