U.S.: Judge will hear glass price-fixing case, despite weak evidence

Jeld-Wen Inc.’s charges against several glass producers for price-fixing has been allowed to proceed in court by U.S. District Judge Donetta W. Ambrose. The suit is charging AGC America Inc., Guardian Industries Corp., and others of fixing prices on flat glass products. Judge Ambrose has allowed the suit to proceed despite evidence being “weak,” noting that a jury will ultimately decide the fate of the case.
