Canada: Competition Bureau announces new T.D. MacDonald Chair appointment

The Interim Commissioner of Competition has announced the new T.D. MacDonald Chair in Industrial Economics. Richard Taylor will assume the position, effective November 5, as an aide to the Competition Bureau. Taylor’s role will be to offer advice on matters of competition, as well as to aide in certain investigations the Competition Bureau initiates in the form of economic analysis.
