Spain.: CNC investigates cotton producers

The National Competition Commission of Spain (CNC) is investigating possible anticompetitive practices in the markets of raw cotton. According to a report released on October 9, 2012 inspectors of the CNC have carried out inspections at the premises of many cotton producers and at their headquarters, on suspicion that they may be involved indirectly in price-fixing or market sharing.
