Romania: Watchdog to waive gas import requirements for Petrom and Romgaz

Romania’s watchdog wants to allow OMV Petrom and Romgaz, two major gas and petroleum firms in Eastern Europe, to use 100% domestic natural gas in own power generation units. Under the current gas law, domestic consumers have to import a certain share of their gas intake.
