UC Irvine School of Law announces new consumer protection clinic

UC Irvine Law Professor Katherine Porter has started a Consumer Protection Clinic at the law school. Along with a visiting clinical professor, Porter will work with law students to help California Attorney General Kamala Harris assist California homeowners in receiving mortgage relief. The $18 million in relief for California comes from a foreclosure settlement with five banks.
