DuPont wins motion for summary judgment in Kevlar antitrust case

The U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia (Richmond) has granted DuPont’s motion for summary judgment on antitrust claims raised by Kolon Industries. South Korea-based Kolon alleged that DuPont tried to monopolize the Kevlar market. In September 2011, a federal jury had found that Kolon stole trade secrets involving DuPont’s Kevlar technology.
