Court Assessment and Valuations Business Association investigated for setting minimum rates
The National Competition Commission has opened formal proceedings against the Court Assessment and Valuations Business Association (Asociación Empresarial de Peritaje y Valoraciones Judiciales). The Court Assessment and Valuations Business Association had published recommended rates for reports, leading to the Commission’s concerns that it was setting minimum prices. Such conduct would violate article 1 of Spanish Competition Act 15/2007.
