Commission seeks comment on maritime state aid rules

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on state aid rules for maritime transport. The Commission seeks comment to decide whether the 2004 EU Guidelines on state aid need to be revised. All citizens and organizations are welcome to comment, especially public authorities providing aid to maritime companies, stakeholders in the maritime industry, and trade unions. Submissions are accepted until May 14, 2012.
