The Investigations Division of the National Competition Commission has opened formal proceedings against Asociacion de Gestion de Derechos Intelectuales (AGEDI). The probe is to determine of AGEDI has abused its dominant position in IP rights management, constituting violations of article 2 of Spanish Competition Act 15/2007 and article 102 of the TFEU. The specific anticompetitive activities include refusing to supply to jukeboxes and imposing unfair conditions on jukebox rights.
