Court upholds sales ban on Samsung’s Galaxy tablet

In a victory for Apple, the Higher Regional Court in Dusseldorf upheld a sales ban on Samsung’s Galaxy 10.1 and 8.9 tablet computer in Germany. As quoted in Bloomberg, Judge Wilhelm Berneke found that “Samsung wrongfully takes advantage of the enormous reputation and prestige of the iPad [. . .] Samsung unfairly imitates the iPad with its tablet.”
