124,400 euro fine for failing to notify CNC of a concentration operation

The National Competition Commission has fined Gestamp Manufacturing Autochasis, S.L., Gestamp Automoción, S.L., Grupo Estampaciones Sabadell, S.L. and Bonmor, S.L. for failing to notify the Commission of a concentration operation before its execution. An investigation by the Commission revealed that the companies had executed the first phase of acquiring joint control over Essa Palau in July 2011 before the notification required under article 9.2 of the Spanish Competition Act 15/2007. The companies are jointly and severally liable for the fine of 124,400 euros.
