In a slew of new promotions, Shearman & Sterling reportedly announced that antitrust lawyer Brian G. Burke has been named a new partner at the law firm. He is one of 13 lawyers to receive the promotion.
Burke practices in Hong Kong and China for Shearman & Sterling, focusing on matters of antitrust, shareholder litigation, economic sanctions and other areas. According to the law firm, he is fluent in Mandarin and therefore often advises multinationals within the Greater China area in his practice.
Shearman & Sterling’s promotions span across its offices in Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Singapore and Washington, D.C.
