Australia: ACCC launches free competition education initiative

 |  November 11, 2013

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has reportedly launched a free, online education program for institutions to offer to students, a move made in efforts to spread knowledge of consumers’ rights under Australian competition law.

In a statement from ACCC Deputy Chair Dr. Michael Schaper, the regulator has reportedly implemented the education program as a way to help business leaders and professionals “understand their rights and responsibilities under the Competition and Consumer Act.”
