Australia: Baker & McKenzie opens new doors

Baker & McKenzie has reportedly opened its newest office in Brisbane, Australia.

The firm is also welcoming three new partners to the location. Philip Christensen will join from Freehills, Jo Daniels will join from Allens, and Darren Fooks will join from Clayton Utz.

The firm in Brisbane will specialize in mergers and acquisitions, among other specialties. Daniels, specifically, is known for her expertise on megamergers, according to Baker & McKenzie.

The new office marks the law firm’s 76th location worldwide, according to reports.
