Australia: Cleaning product company admits to price-fixing to ACCC

A cleaning products company has admitted to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission of fixing resale prices. Chemical Formulators Pty Ltd. supplies its products to hospitals, food processors, aged care facilities, mining companies and hotels. The charge is a violation of section 48 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The company has vowed to revise its distributor agreement in order to no longer prevent distributors from discounting prices.
