Banco Português de Negócios’ 100 percent acquisition by Banco Português de Negócios approved
The Competition Authority has approved the 100 percent acquisition of Banco Português de Negócios by Angolan bank Banco Internacional de Crédito. The Authority found that the merger “does not create or increase a position of dominance that leads to competition obstacles in the financial sectors of banking and insurance.”
