Bank of Namibia and Namibian Competition Commission sign Memorandum of Agreement for cooperation in financial regulation

The Bank of Namibia and the Namibian Competition Commission signed a Memorandum of Agreement over the two bodies’ respective roles in financial regulation. The Memorandum establishes checks and balances to oversee merger reviews and competition issues that banking institutions face.
