Dentons has secured the hire of a new antitrust guru as senior counsel at the firm’s competition practice in Brussels, reports say.
Litigator Mark Clough QC will join Dentons from Brodies, at which he lead its EU competition practice while based in Edinburgh.
According to reports, the lawyer specializes in cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, merger control and other specialties of competition law, especially in the fields of shipping and energy. Dentons described Clough as a “first-class lawyer” and its head of the competition and antitrust practice group, Jörg Karenfort, said he has “delighted” to have Clough on board.
