Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) has unconditionally approved the acquisition of Cemig Telecom’s assets by American Tower (ATC), reported Telecompaper.
The operation will allow the ATC Group effectively to offer SCM services to its customers, without generating horizontal overlaps or vertical integration between the activities of the applicants, stated CADE, as the group did not previously offer the service in the country.
