Brazil: Saint-Gobain agrees to buy TekBond

France’s Saint-Gobain has finished an agreement to fully acquire Brazil based TekBond, an adhesive company that mostly caters to the construction and automotive aftermarket industries.

    TekBond will be brought into Saint-Gobain’s High-Performance Materials Activity, allowing the company to combine the adhesives company with its current mortars, flat glass and abrasives lines for the industrial and construction markets.

    Though the agreement has been signed, the deal still needs Brazilian antitrust approval before completion.
