BWB reviewing Carlos Slim’s bid for 25.9 percent of Telekom Austria

BWB, the Austrian competition regulator, is reviewing America Movil’s proposed $1 billion acquisition of 25.9 percent of Telekom Austria. The shares will be purchased from Ronny Pecik and Naguib Sawiris. Carlos Slim has extended a separate offer for 28 percent of KPN.
