Brian Facey of Blake, Cassels & Graydon will be installed as the new Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Competition Law Section later this month. Facey is co-chair of the firm’s Competition, Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group, one of Canada’s largest and most prominent competition law practices. His mandates include representing Bell on its proposed $3.38-billion acquisition of Astral Media Inc., which is currently before the CRTC.
