Canada: Competition Bureau rules on 14 major Canadian/U.S. air routes

Canada’s Competition Bureau has reportedly reached a deal with Air Canada and its partner in the U.S. to form an alliance on routes where they don’t hold a near monopoly and coordinate prices and schedules on those routes. The agreement says, however, that the airlines are prohibited from doing so in the 14 other major routes connecting the two nations.
