Canada: Irving Oil faces charges for price-fixing

Maritime energy giant Irving Oil is facing charges related to gas price fixing in Quebec, according to Canada’s Competition Bureau. These charges come a month after Quebec has certified a class-action lawsuit against a number of gas retailers (CPI reported), which seeks $100 million CDN in damages for price-fixing in the Quebec City region.
