China Hydroelectric Corp announced Monday is has agreed to be acquired by CPT Wyndham Holdings, according to reports.
The Chinese firm, which operates various small hydroelectric projects within China, will need to make a filing with CPT Wyndham to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, though has already received unanimous clearance for the merger by its board of directors.
Reports say the parties expect to close the transaction in the first half of this year. The total financial value of the buyout was not reported.
