The victims of gas price-fixing in Ontario have filed a class action lawsuit for $55 million. A Notice of Action was issued on March 27, 2012. The group is represented by Siskinds LLP and targets Pioneer Energy, Canadian Tire Corporation, and Mr. Gas for a 2007 conspiracy. The same three companies recently pleaded guilty to price-fixing charges brought by the Competition Bureau.
