Commission confirms inspections at auto thermal system companies

The European Commission has confirmed that on May 22, 2012, it conducted unannounced inspections at the premises of companies involved in thermal systems for cars. The Commission is concerned that the companies have formed a cartel. It has recently carried out inspectors for suspected cartels involving wire harnesses, occupant safety systems, and bearings.
