Consumer Agency follows Australia’s lead and investigates Apple iPad 4G marketing
Prompted by the ACCC’s action over iPad marketing in Australia, the Sweden Consumer Agency is looking into Apple’s iPad marketing in Sweden. The watchdog is specifically looking at consumer complaints accusing Apple of not making it clear that the 4G technology will not work outside North America. The Swedish version of Apple’s website claims that the iPad can connect to 4G around the world, with an easy-to-miss qualification.
