Cristal Union receives approval to become France’s second-largest sugar producer

Cristal Union has issued a statement that the Autorité de la concurrence, France’s competition authority, has given it approval to buy Groupe Vermandoise. The deal will turn Cristal Union into the second-largest producer of sugar in France.
