DOJ Hiring Antitrust Trial Attorneys During Virus

The Justice Department’s antitrust division is still hiring during the new coronavirus pandemic.

The DOJ is seeking four trial attorneys to join the civil antitrust enforcement section which is tasked with investigating and potentially litigating mergers, according to a job posting. 

The Antitrust Division is seeking highly qualified attorneys to serve as Trial Attorneys in three of its civil enforcement and litigation sections based in Washington, DC. These sections are responsible for civil antitrust enforcement and litigation, competition advocacy, and competition policy in multiple sectors of the economy.

Attorneys hired for the role will serve in sections charged with investigating deals across the healthcare, media, entertainment, and professional services sectors, such as real estate firm mergers. 

Trial attorneys will also review mergers involving the telecommunications and broadband sectors.
